		C.R. Wolfe Heating Corporation was founded in 1945 by Charles R. Wolfe. It has occupied its present location at 449 E Main Street in Middletown, NY since 1950. The large brick building which houses the offices and sheetmetal shop of C.R. Wolfe Heating Corp. was originally built as a generating plant for the electricity which powered the Middletown-Goshen Trolley in the early years of the 20th century.	C.R. 		Charles R. Wolfe remained President of the company until his death in 1973. He was succeeded by his son, Jim Wolfe, who had become Vice-President in 1968, having worked his way up from an installation mechanic. In April of 2003 C.R. Wolfe furthered its strength and stature when it merged with Reiner & Company (another well established family owned business with an excellent reputation). The group, now over 150 strong, has never been better equipped to serve its entire customer base. Although the technology has changed a great deal over the years, C.R.
